The “All Nations Top 16 Shootout” is the vision of one man with a passion for lacrosse. Coach

George Kennedy, simply known as “Coach” in the world of lacrosse, has committed his life to

teaching and providing the forum for kids to excel not only in sport, but in life. “Coach” became

involved in lacrosse in the late ’70’s. He has coached 1,200+ games at the rec, club, middle
school, high school, collegiate, and post-collegiate level and has won numerous awards and
tournaments. He has developed over 100 All Americans and was nominated as the “Coach of
the Year” of the Central Atlantic Lacrosse League. “Coach” has served on the Board of

MYLA and U.S. Lacrosse’s Federation of International Lacrosse, and served on the FIL
    World Team Selection Committee.

In his spare time, “Coach” was the Founder of the famed University Lacrosse, Redshirts Lacrosse
and Baltimore Prep Lacrosse. In addition to leading the “All Nations Top 16 Shootout”, “Coach” is

the head coach of the Edge USA Redshirts Lacrosse and the highly respected Director of
University Lacrosse with deeply rooted relationships crossing over in to professional lacrosse
and most of the NCAA Division I, II and III college coaches.

Simply put… “Coach” lives and breathes this stuff.

The vision for the “All Nations Top 16 Shootout” came from “Coach’s” recognition of a need for a

truly elite summer team tournament. He envisioned a gathering, one place one time, of the best of

the best players for college recruiters to evaluate tomorrow’s collegiate superstars today; a place

where the most extraordinary performances and players would be captured on film by some
of the best sports cinematographers in the world; great film that will be celebrated on the

internet to dramatically increase player exposure.

“Coach” knew the demands of the summer life of a college coach, always on the road, away from

his family traveling from tournament to tournament. He was driven to do this so it could help
consolidate coaches’ evaluation time, ultimately reduce road-time, and allow them to spend
    more quality time at home.

The “2010 All Nations Top 16 Shootout” took place in Baltimore Maryland on July 6 and July 7

and attracted 32 of the best club teams in the country. Miles of raw footage, with sound bites and

various camera speeds and angles, are now ‘in the can’, safely vaulted at NFL Films, awaiting sponsor

assignments and distribution.  This ‘Glory Film’ is loaded, prepared to feed the country’s
insatiable appetite for best moments in sports. And, “Coach’s” vision of extraordinary
exposure of the games’ most exciting players and plays is set to come to fruition.

On August 4, 2010 the tournament was officially named "All Nations Top 16 Shootout",

resoundingly opening the door to the top teams with the top American, Canadian, Native American

and Native Canadian players, competing in one venue for recruiters' attention and those on-field

special moments that can only be accomplished by special players.
